Hedgehog Umbrella dot painting in the rain

A hedgehog shelters under an umbrella while drops fall around it. The smooth canopy above and the bristling back below make a satisfying pair of opposites.

Think painting by numbers without the paint pots. Dot painting here means a marker, a printed canvas and a hedgehog that appears circle by circle.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

      • Printed canvas: sturdy, with a crisp umbrella outline.
      • Guide: a page with the basics.
      • Double-tip markers:
        • 1.0 mm tip: for the canopy and the ground.
        • 0.5 mm tip: for the spines, the ribs and the falling rain.

      Made for a rainy afternoon

It feels fitting to dot rain while it rains outside. The canvas waits on the table for exactly that kind of day.

Rain tapping the window is the perfect soundtrack. Let a youngster fill the umbrella canopy while you work the prickly back. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Hedgehog Umbrella dot painting

      Rain, in moderation

Falling drops are a few well-placed marks, not a curtain of ink. Overdo them and the whole canvas turns heavy and dull.

The smooth canopy and the spiky back give the finished piece two textures to admire. Frame it and a cozy rainy afternoon stays on display for good.
