Vibrant Mandala dot painting with wide-open rings

A mandala with more space between its motifs than most, which makes it a friendly pattern to begin with. The shapes are large and the borders are clear.

Large shapes and clear borders make this a gentle first project. Dot painting here is relaxing, clean and refreshingly simple.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

      • Printed canvas: firm, with clean outlines.
      • Guide: a single short page.
      • Double-tip markers:
        • 1.0 mm tip: for the broad motifs.
        • 0.5 mm tip: for the borders and the small accents.

      A first mandala to try

Generous shapes forgive small slips. If symmetry is new to you, this is a comfortable place to start.

Split the rings with a neighbor and meet in the middle, or hoard the whole canvas for a peaceful hour alone. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Vibrant Mandala dot painting

      Let the space stay open

The bare canvas between the rings is meant to stay bare. Fill it in and the pattern closes up, losing the airy effect.

Open spaces between the motifs give the dots room to show, so the rings read clearly even from the doorway. A second canvas would make a fine twin.
