Fox Playing In Snow dot painting mid-leap

A fox diving nose first into the snow, tail in the air. Movement is hard to draw but easy to dot, because the blur is simply where you loosen the spacing.

Skip the paint tubes and the cleanup. A fox mid-dive only needs dot painting, a printed canvas, and an easy, steady pace.

A project for dark winter evenings

Snowy scenes suit the season of early dusk. Bring it out with the first cold snap and put it away when spring arrives.

Keep it for yourself on a lazy Sunday, or hand it to someone who could use a gentler pace. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Fox Playing In Snow dot painting

      Snow you never touch

Most of the snow is simply untouched canvas. The fox gets the dots, the ground gets almost none, and the contrast does the rest.

Finished, the fox seems to leap off the canvas, and the playful blur of spacing adds energy to any room.
