Autumn Mushrooms dot painting, a gentle first canvas

A cluster of mushrooms pushing up through moss and leaves. The shapes are generous and the detail is forgiving, which makes this one of the easier designs to begin with if you have never dotted before.

Never dotted before? Start here. Roomy shapes, forgiving detail, and markers that leave your table spotless.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

      • Printed canvas: solid, with a readable layout.
      • Guide: a short guide to a confident start.
      • Double-tip markers:
        • 1.0 mm tip: for the caps and stems.
        • 0.5 mm tip: for the gills below and the moss around them.

Easy to share with a friend

Several mushrooms mean several separate jobs, so two people can work the same canvas without getting in each other's way. It takes about a minute to explain the technique.

Settle in with a cup of tea and let moss and leaves fill in slowly. There is no clock on this one. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Autumn Mushrooms dot painting

Dark gills below, light caps above

The underside of a mushroom is the darkest part of the picture and the cap the lightest. Holding that difference is all the design asks of you, and it makes the cluster look rounded.

Frame it and the mushrooms become a small woodland window. Whoever receives it will see every hour you put in.
