Blossom Dreamcatcher dot painting with feathers and thread

A dreamcatcher hung with feathers and beads, the web strung tight across the hoop. Thread work is the most delicate thing in the range and the most satisfying to get right.

Tidy, calm and surprisingly absorbing, dot painting lets even a first-timer finish delicate thread work with only markers.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

      • Printed canvas: firm, with the web clearly mapped out.
      • Guide: a short page of instructions.
      • Double-tip markers:
        • 1.0 mm tip: for the hoop and the feather bodies.
        • 0.5 mm tip: for the web, the beads and the barbs.

      A canvas for the bedroom

The subject belongs above a bed, and made by hand it stops looking like something from a market stall.

Bring a friend, give each of you a corner of the web, and let a lazy weekend afternoon drift by. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Blossom Dreamcatcher dot painting

      Drawing a thread with dots

A line made of dots only reads as taut if the spacing stays even. Slow down across the web and the whole hoop holds together.

Layered marks lift the feathers into a soft, raised surface, and the beads seem to catch a bit of shadow.
