Bear On The Moon - Dot painting

Bear On The Moon dot painting for a quiet hour

A bear sitting on a crescent moon with the night open all around. Most of the canvas is sky, so this is a calm design: long stretches of even dotting with the bear waiting at the center.

No steady pencil hand needed: the printed circles show where every dot belongs. Dot painting a bear on a crescent moon is calm from start to finish.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

• Printed canvas: strong, with crisp, clear lines.
• Guide: the basics, kept brief.
• Double-tip markers:
  • 1.0 mm tip: for the night sky and the bear's coat.
  • 0.5 mm tip: for the stars and the curve of the moon.

A canvas for the nursery

A bear on the moon belongs above a cot, and one you dotted yourself means more there than a poster. It also makes an obvious gift for a new arrival.

Long, even stretches of night sky suit a patient mood. Hand part of it to a friend and let the sky fill in between you. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

A night sky you fill by hand

The sky is the biggest area and the most satisfying: the farther you move from the moon, the denser the dots become. The stars are simply the spots you skip.

Step back and the sky seems to deepen, with the bear waiting at its center. Hang it in a bedroom and it tells the story of how you made it.
