Scottish Highlander Christmas dot painting in a Santa hat

A Highland cow in a Santa hat, with its fringe hanging out from under the brim. Felt, fur and horn in one frame, each asking for its own rhythm.

A festive Highland cow, a handful of markers and an evening off from screens. Nothing to stir, nothing to spill, and no drawing skill needed to begin dot painting.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

      • Printed canvas: sturdy, with the coat finely printed.
      • Guide: practical notes on one page.
      • Double-tip markers:
        • 1.0 mm tip: for the hat and the body.
        • 0.5 mm tip: for the fringe, the trim and the horns.

      Festive without the usual Santa

It feels like Christmas without yet another Santa on the wall, which is why it makes such a good present.

Felt, fur and horn each ask for a different rhythm, which makes this a fun one to share with kids. Swap tablet time for a table, a set of markers and a Highland cow. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Scottish Highlander Christmas dot painting

      Felt solid, fur loose

Dot the hat densely and evenly, and the coat more loosely. That way the hat sits on the animal instead of merging into it.

Stand back and the cow comes together as one cheerful picture; get close and every dot shows. Hung at the holidays, it carries the warmth of something hand-made.
