Lion Family dot painting: a mane and two cubs

A lion rests with its cubs, its mane fanned out behind. The mane alone is hours of dotting and a good reason to pick this canvas.

Trading paint, brushes and clean-up for a double-tip pen, dot painting keeps even a mane this full pleasantly tidy.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

      • Printed canvas: sturdy, with all three animals clearly drawn.
      • Guide: the essentials on a single page.
      • Double-tip markers:
        • 1.0 mm tip: for the bodies and the full mane.
        • 0.5 mm tip: for the faces and the ends of the hair.

      A project to share

With three animals there are three jobs. One person takes the cubs, another the lion, and the marker never sits idle.

Tackle one section of mane per sitting and enjoy the screen-free stretch. Or give the whole family to someone who loves lions. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Dotting the Lion Family dot painting

      A mane built from strands

Work outward from the face in long sweeps, leaving canvas between them. Fill it solid and the mane becomes a heavy halo.

Heavy dotting gives the mane real volume, and the lion family makes a proud centerpiece for a living room.
