Bird House Garden - Dot painting

Bird House Garden dot painting full of small details

A garden with nesting boxes hung among the branches, birds coming and going. There is a lot happening on this canvas, which makes it the sort of project you return to over several weeks.

Forget brushes and drying racks. Dot painting gives you one marker plus a canvas where every circle is already printed, no sketching needed.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

• Printed canvas: sturdy, with every bird house clearly printed.
• Guide: the practical basics.
• Double-tip markers:
  • 1.0 mm tip: for the roofs, trunks and foliage.
  • 0.5 mm tip: for the perches, the birds and the fine twigs.

Twenty minutes at a time

One bird house is a natural stopping point, so the canvas fits into a full week instead of asking for a free evening.

Come back to the garden a few evenings a week and let it grow slowly. Or hand a friend a second marker and claim a nesting box each. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Depth in a busy scene

With this much detail the risk is that everything sits on one level. Working the far branches lightly and the nearest house densely is what pushes the garden back into the distance.

Weeks of dots add up to a canvas full of life, and nobody else owns one like it. Wrapped up, it would delight any bird lover.
