Squirrel Family - Dot painting

Squirrel Family dot painting with tails everywhere

Several squirrels together, their bushy tails overlapping. Repeating animals with small differences make for a long and easygoing project.

Filling circle after circle is all there is to it; dot painting calls for no drying, no mixing and no steady artist's hand.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

• Printed canvas: firm, with each animal clearly drawn.
• Guide: one page of practical notes.
• Double-tip markers:
  • 1.0 mm tip: for the bodies and the tails.
  • 0.5 mm tip: for the faces and the paws.

Easy to share

One animal each and nobody waits for the marker. The technique takes a minute to explain.

Save it for a wet weekend, or give one squirrel a single sitting, with no one to answer to but yourself. A dot art painting kit with everything included.

Overlapping tails, sorted out

Give each tail its own density where they cross so the animals stay apart. Scattered dots keep them fluffy.

Every squirrel completed adds a spark of pride; step back and the family looks whole, lean in and it is all dots.
