Butterfly Book dot painting where pages turn into wings

An open book with butterflies rising off the paper, the two shapes blurring into each other. It is a favourite among readers, and the transition from page to wing is the part worth taking your time over.

Switch from paint by numbers to this clean, mess free craft. No paint, no drying time, and no hassle. Just follow the dots and watch the art appear.

In the box

All materials included:

  • Printed canvas: robust, with pages and wings clearly separated.
  • Short manual: one page of instruction.
  • Markers with two tips:
    • 1.0 mm side: for the covers and the broad wings.
    • 0.5 mm side: for the page edges and the antennae.

A gift for someone who reads

Hard to buy for, easy to please with this. Finished and framed it sits well above a reading chair or a full bookshelf.

You can easily pause and resume this hobby whenever you like. Hand over a few figures to work on together with your child for quality offline time.

Paper becoming wing

Start dense at the spine and let the dots thin out towards the flying butterflies. The gradual fade is what makes the illusion work, and it costs nothing but patience.

Gift the unstarted box to someone who already has everything, or proudly display your self made masterpiece. Enjoy the visible progress, block by block.
