Mediterranean Door View - Panorama Dot painting

Mediterranean Door View panorama dot painting, open doors to the coast

Two wooden doors stand open in a stone archway and frame a hillside village above a bay dotted with small boats. The wide format leaves space for the wall on both sides, with its lanterns, vines and clay pots.

Stones, planks and rooftops are all built from printed circles you fill in with markers. Nothing needs to dry, so you can move from the wall to the bay in one sitting.

What is in the dot painting kit

Everything you need comes in one box:

• Printed canvas: structured, with the arch and both doors sharply drawn.
• Guide: one page with a few simple steps.
• Double-tip markers:
  • 1.0 mm tip: for the stone wall, the door planks and the paving.
  • 0.5 mm tip: for the village houses, the boats and the vine blossoms.

For anyone who misses the coast

A scene for travelers who like southern towns and sea views. It brings a bit of a summer evening into the hallway or living room.

The framing wall and the view are two separate jobs. Do the doors and stones on relaxed evenings and the village when you feel like precise work.

Frame first, view second

Finish the arch and the doors before you start on the view. With the frame in place, it is easier to judge how dark the hillside and the bay need to be.

The open doors give the piece real depth, as if the wall has an opening. The village and the bay sit in the middle like a picture within a picture.
